COURSE DESCRIPTION
Sports Sector has become a key industry contributing around £20.3 billion to the economy, with the number of sports related jobs in the UK being estimated at over 400,000.
This BTEC course provides excellent preparation for careers within Sports Coaching, teaching, therapy and conditioning or the health and leisure industry and can support entry into higher education with UCAS points awarded.
BTEC Level 3 Nationals are an alternative to A Levels and are accepted as an entry requirement for universities and further education colleges. As a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma, this course is equivalent to three A Levels. It has grades in Pass, Merit, Distinction and a starred Distinction.
Our collaboration with EM7xSA International Football Academy enables students to study a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma whilst they train. EM7xSA International Football Academy, is the UK's first private football academy which offers professional football coaching led by UEFA licensed coaches.

Assessment for the course Is through a variety of coursework-based methods including observations, presentations, case-studies, and assignments.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSE Grade 4 and above (including English and Mathematics) or the equivalent.
